I’m Shawn Whelan, a life-long passionate artist and graphic designer from Northern New Jersey with more than nine years of professional experience in print and web design. I’m a creative thinker with intense focus and a strong work ethic. It is important for me that I put my whole heart and effort into everything I do. I am always viewing the world through the eyes and emotions of an artist.

As an artist, I was recognized for my art work in the 2007 West Orange Energy Diet and the 2000 West Orange Cow Parade in The New York Times, The Star-Ledger, and New Jersey Monthly.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design from The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale and completed graduate course work in art education at Montclair State University. My professional experience includes; working in an advertising agency and for a printing shop. I’m currently working as an Art Director for a web based company that specializes in broadcast television sales for over 400 nation-wide stations. I have diverse life experiences and interests that help shape the work I do.

Currently I’m married and living in Rockaway, New Jersey.
